You must live on the same planet as my sister in law, who is doing that But everyone else on the planet read the books first

Truthfully, I found some of the parts of this book to drag Like when they're looking for horcruxes and camping hither and yon But, the payoff is superfabulous, if sad And not exactly what I expected, and so very satisfying I don't know what else to say without spoiling it for you [read full review]

J. Although, the story was good I'm not going to debate that I think the problem lies in the fact that I started this as an audiobook The narrator was just not good in my opinion He would be doing voices and all of a sudden the male would stop speaking in a Spanish accent or the main characters voice would change into the female part even though it was clearly still the main character, Wrath, speaking It was so very... [read full review]

Sue Monk Kidd - Secret Life of Bees --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/sue-monk-kidd-secret-life-of-bees/35458

By: Maya H.
When I read a book, I expect to read a good one But this book was not only a good one, but instead fantastic I absolutely fell in love with the character's in this book I originally saw the film first because I didn't know it was a book until after I had seen it, but my English teacher recommended this to me and I couldn't say no because she always recommends brilliant books to me, and she wouldn't let me say no :b

It was extremely disturbing, exciting, and a TOTAL page turner

Written by Anthony Zuiker and Duane Swierczynski (whose names you may recognize from CSI), its an interactive novel, where every 20 pages or so, you log into the Level26 website and watch a professionally made video accompaning what you just read It may be an incoming voicemail you hear, or a video clip of the killer's latest victim You never know! Shopaholic Ties the Knot follows Becky Bloomwood, our heroine, as she becomes engaged to her boyfriend, Luke What follows is a hilarious, frustrating, totally realistic account of two mothers planning two weddings in completely different countries! Luke's Mother wants Becky to have a wedding at the Plaza Hotel in New York It will be Becky's dream wedding, and the social event of the year Becky's Mom wants a wedding at home, complete with Becky wearing her old ruffly wedding dress and all family and friends present Becky,... [read full review]

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/shopaholic-takes-manhattan/34882

By: Ellen S.
I mentioned I was in love with the "Shopaholic" series of books by Sophie Kinsella a while backnewsflash: still am! I just re-read Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, which I think is the second or third in the series It follows Becky Bloomwood and her boyfriend Luke, who has had a business opportunity arise in New York, and asks Becky to come with him The book was awesome, the highs that Becky experiences while shopping in New York, where she feels on top of the world, to the lows when her debt is exposed in a British paper and is ostracized by everyone I love the characters in the books, and how... [read full review]

Shot of Tequila (Kindle Edition) --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/shot-of-tequila-kindle-edition/34677

By: Patrick M.
Another book from my favorite author, JA Konrath

Rainwater takes place in 1934 during the depression Ella runs a boardinghouse and watches over her 10 year old son Solly, who is autistic Unfortunately, in the 30's they really didn't know much about autism Then David Rainwater arrives in need of a room Ella begrudgingly rents it out to him

That's what I think this book is Clearly, this is one of the best stories I've had the pleasure of reading Without even telling you the storyline, I can wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone

Written in 1987 -- before networked computers and the impact they would have had on this story -- this is the story of three people: Travis Cornell, Nora Devon, and a golden retriever named Einstein (yes, Einstein is a person too as you'll learn when you read the book) Their stories begin completely in ignorance of one another, but as the story progresses their lives... [read full review]

Judy Markey: Just Trust Me --> 1/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/judy-markey-just-trust-me/34380

By: Nikki W.
Alright, so I found this on my bookshelf and decided to give it a try It looked pretty good

I expected so much more from this book It only starts getting good at page 300 and by good, I mean less like you want to throw it away

All through the book it's just Kate debating what she wants to do and talking it through with several different people It's so annoying

I did not get that I was waiting for it to get fun but all it did for me was well, nothing I was a little irritated about how things were happening and Betsy's attitude and how flippant she was Not to mention how some important things were happening and she'd just go off and zone out and her mind would start to wander to shoes instead of what was happening... [read full review]

The Kingdom Keepers - By Ridley Pearson --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/the-kingdom-keepers-by-ridley-pearson/34337

By: Adara F.
Maryn actually recommended this book to me, which I have to say was a fantastic recommendation!! Everyone's imagined the animatronics coming to life in Disneyland at one time or another, and this book did a superb job at breathing life into the dolls of Small World who attack by biting!

My one gripe is that there were some big continuity problems for me Yes, I know, I have no problem with rides coming to life, but tell me the big to do is that the park characters haven't figured out how to get out of the park and cause trouble in the real world, but then the next chapter the city has... [read full review]

The Guinea Pig Diaries: My LIfe As An Experiement --> 3/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/the-guinea-pig-diaries-my-life-as-an-experiement/34322

By: Derek Y.
Author AJ Jacobs somewhat funny chronicles of his adventures performing various life 'experiments' He posed as a woman to help his HOT nanny weed through profiles on an online dating site He described her as an Angelina Jolie look-alike who was somewhat shorter, or taller, can't quite remember Having gone through the whole rejection thing before he was married AJ found it empowering being on the receiving end of such large amounts of attention Unfortunately he never put a picture of his nanny in the book so we just have to take his word for her hotness

I just HAD to review this little book set considering I read through it like 20 times a day with my son! He is obsessed with the movie Cars so naturally he would be drawn to this little boxed book set Everything is perfect about this set The carrying case is perfect for carrying the books, the fact these are board books makes it very resistant to wear and tear and perfect for little hands to flip through, the pictures are vibrant and accurate, and the stories are just long enough for a young child's attention span This set is aimed toward kids ages 4-8, but I'm using... [read full review]

One Silent Night (Dark-Hunter, Book 13) --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/one-silent-night-dark-hunter-book-13/34301

By: Nikki W.
One Silent Night was a quick read compared to the one before it Sherrilyn Kenyon did not wow me with this one However, she did leave me with lots of questions when it ended

The Dark-Hunter series switches from Dark-Hunters, to Were-Hunters, to Dream-Hunters, and Gods, yet they're all part of the same series, the Dark-Hunters I just want to get back to them at some point They had some of the best stories

- Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina

I was given the opportunity by the One2One network to review "Once In a Blue Moon", a novel by Eileen Goudge

Often I can tell a good novel by its first line, and this one from the book drew me in immediately:

"The first time Kerrie Ann disappeared was only the warning shot, as it turned out"

Right away, I was hooked

Once In A Blue Moon is a story of love, loss and redemption, of being torn apart only to join again stronger

It is about finding your family, finding what... [read full review]

BookMooch --> 5/5 Stars

http://www.sazze.com/products/bookmooch/34291

By: Adara F.
I love BookMooch!! If you have a stack of old books lying around that you're never going to read again (or maybe you never read in the first place) then you should list them on BookMooch and trade for new books!

Here's how it works: BookMooch is FREE!! Create an account, add your books to your inventory (you get 1/10th of a point for every book you add) and then wait for someone to mooch a book from you

When someone mooches from you, you send out the book they requested and you get a point The easiest way to send books is media mail, that way you keep your postage cost low

I don't want to spoil this story, so bear with me as I try to describe it without giving too much away What I didn't realize when I started this book was that it was 816 pages Yikes The worst thing was that there was approximately 400 pages of abuse The first 400 I teared up 3 times It was so frustrating Worst of all was his sister, Ryssa, who was only ever kind to him but ended up... [read full review]

J. So we find out the conclusion to the cliffhanger we were left with in Fuzzy Navel One of Jack's loved ones was killed at the end of that book, but until you read this book you won't know who This book starts about three weeks after the end of Fuzzy Navel, so it's a continuation of that story
